1. About Mnemo
Mnemo ("the Registry", "we", "us") is an open registry for AI agent skill packs — structured instruction sets, scripts and configuration bundles intended for use by autonomous AI agents and coding assistants. The Registry operates as a community platform and does not produce, author, or endorse any of the skill packs listed on it.
2. ⚠️ Security Warning — Use At Your Own Risk
Skill packs contain executable instructions and scripts that may affect your system, data, files, network, API credentials, and AI agent behavior.
Although all submitted packs go through automated moderation review, no automated system can guarantee that a pack does not contain malicious, harmful, or unintended commands. Moderation reduces — but does not eliminate — risk.
The following risks exist for every pack, including approved ones:
- Hidden destructive commands (file deletion, data exfiltration, system modification)
- Instructions that cause AI agents to leak secrets, tokens or API keys
- Prompt injection payloads embedded in skill descriptions or examples
- Dependencies on external URLs that may be hijacked or replaced
- Commands that behave differently depending on OS, environment, or agent version
- Obfuscated logic that passes automated checks but harms your system at runtime
You are solely responsible for reviewing any skill pack before loading it into your AI agent. We strongly recommend reading the full pack contents and understanding each instruction before use.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Registry and all content within it are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We make no representation or warranty that:
- Any skill pack is safe, accurate, complete, or fit for your use case
- The Registry is free from errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities
- Pack authors are who they claim to be
- Pack content will remain unchanged after publication
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mnemo, its operators, contributors, and moderators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Registry or any skill pack obtained through it — including but not limited to:
- Data loss or corruption
- System damage or unauthorized access
- Financial losses caused by agent behavior
- Loss of API credentials, tokens, or secrets
- Any action taken by an AI agent following instructions from a skill pack
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. Publisher Responsibilities
By publishing a skill pack on Mnemo, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the author or have the right to distribute the pack under its stated license
- The pack does not contain malware, destructive commands, or intentionally harmful instructions
- The pack does not instruct AI agents to exfiltrate data, leak credentials, or act against the user's interests
- The pack does not violate any applicable law, including export control regulations
- You accept full legal responsibility for any harm caused by your published pack
We reserve the right to remove any pack at any time without notice. Repeated violations will result in account suspension.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Registry to:
- Distribute packs containing malware, ransomware, keyloggers, or credential stealers
- Publish packs designed to manipulate AI agents into harmful behavior (prompt injection, jailbreaks)
- Circumvent or abuse the moderation system
- Create fake accounts or impersonate other users
- Scrape or abuse the API in ways that degrade service for other users
7. Moderation
All submitted packs are reviewed by an automated moderation system before becoming publicly visible. Moderation checks for obvious security issues, secrets, and policy violations. However:
- Automated moderation is not a security guarantee
- A pack that passes moderation may still be harmful
- The final decision on whether to use a pack rests entirely with you
If you discover a malicious or harmful pack, please report it immediately via the pack detail page or by contacting the registry operators.
8. Intellectual Property
Each pack is distributed under the license specified in its manifest. The Registry does not claim ownership over published packs. By publishing, you grant the Registry a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, index, and distribute your pack according to its stated license.
9. Privacy
The Registry stores your GitHub username and avatar URL obtained via OAuth. We do not sell or share this data with third parties. Pack publication history is public by default. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting the registry operators.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Registry after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be announced via the registry homepage.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the registry operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.
